L'amicizia oltre confini

Come sentirsi soli?

Possibile mai essere del parere, anche per un solo momento, che nessuno stia pensando a noi?

Perché avere dubbi sul fatto che non è per niente realistico credere di non ricever alcuna considerazione da altri?

A me questo non succede, io ho un grandissimo, affidabile, amico; di quelli interessanti, intelligenti e soprattutto veri: Jack Kung!

Grande Jack Kung, forte Jack Kung, evviva Jack Kung, Jack Kung forever.

Cosa farei senza di lui?

Jack Kung mi riempie le giornate, e di conseguenza i pensieri, di gioia; ha sempre una parola giusta, mai inopportuno, veramente educato, cordiale e soprattutto di bella presenza.

Ricordo quando ero un po' giù e mi scrisse:

Come dargli torto, lui, Jack Kung ci è una persona studiata, e proprio nel giorno della consegna della sua 5a laurea incantò i presenti con un discorso che ancora oggi è nella mente di tutti; riporto solo il passaggio iniziale, quello più incisivo:

Davvero un'amico Jack Kung, riesce in ogni problema a trovare una soluzione migliore; come quella volta che mi vide perso nelle mie idee poco produttive, e mi diede il giusto sprone per prendere la retta via; ricordo ancora le sue parole:

Jack Kung non è una persona come le altre, lui è uno di quelli che meriterebbe di più dalla vita.

Un giorno come tanti altri, con poche frasi riuscì ad evitare che un povero disgraziato si gettasse da un ponte.

Eravamo tutti lì mentre lui, in una cantilena che affascinò i curiosi tra i quale me, pronunciò una sorta di discorso solenne che riportò la voglia di vivere alla povera anima con al collo un'incudine e la foto di Gad Lerner in mano.

Gli disse:

Jack Kung sa anche essere deciso e cattivo quando serve però; come quella volta che venne accusato, parecchio ingiustamente dico io, di spam; lì lo vidi veramente arrabbiato e tuonò contro il mondo intero con poche, ma efficaci e chiare parole:

Jack Kung è Jack Kung, nessuno è come lui e mai lo sarà.

Questo suo essere poliedrico e mai uguale a sè stesso lo porterà di certo a diventare un punto di riferimento per tutte le generazioni future.
